আমি বিশ্বাস করি একজন ব্যক্তি কখনো আরেকজন ব্যক্তির তুলনা হতে পারে না।। কেননা এই সৃষ্টি জগতে প্রত্যেকটা মানুষেই ইউনিক, একক ব্যক্তিত্বের অধিকারী।
হয়ত একজনের বাহ্যিক আকার, চাল চলন,  জীবন ব্যবস্থা অন্য আরেকজনের সাথে মিলতে পারে কিন্তু তাদের চিন্তা জগত কখনো এক হতে পারে না। তাদের চিন্তা জগত মন মানষিকতা ভিন্ন। হয়ত আমরা এক প্রেসিডেন্ট এর সাথে আরেক প্রেসিডেন্ট  এর তুলনা করতে পারি কিন্তু দেখেন যখন এক প্রেসিডেন্ট যখন আরেক দেশের বিরোদ্ধে যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা করে তখন আরেক প্রেসিডেন্ট দু দেশের মাঝে শান্তি ফিরিয়ে আনতে ব্যস্ত। বস্তির কোন ছেলে যখন মাদক গ্রহনে ব্যস্ত ঠিক সে সময় বস্তির আরেক ছেলেই কিভাবে এই অবস্থা থেকে মুক্তি পাওয়া যায় সেই চেষ্টা করছে।
তাহলে আমরা এক ব্যক্তির সাথে অন্য ব্যক্তির তুলনা করি কি করে। একমাত্র নিজেই নিজের তুলানা হওয়া সম্ভব!!

আজ নাকি বিশ্ব ভালবাসা দিবস? আমি এই ভালবাসা দিবসকে কোন ভাবেই গ্রহণ করিনা।। কারন এই ভালবাসা দিবসের দিনেই ভালবাসার নামে কত অসামাজিক কাজ করা হয়। আচ্ছা ভালবাসা দিবস পালন করেন ঠিক আছে। কিন্তু এই দিন কি নিজের গালফেন্ডকে যেমন ভালবাসা দেখান অন্যদের কি তেমনি ভালবাসা দেখান? বাসের কন্টাক্টর ছেলেটি সাথে কি আপনি দূব্যবহার করেন না? কোন এক ক্ষুদার্ত ভিক্ষুক ১০ টাকার জায়গায় ১৫ টাকা ভিক্ষা চাইলে তখন কি তা আমরা তাদের দেই? তখন কোথায় থাকে আমাদের আজকের এই ভালবাসা দিবসের ভালবাসা।। এই ভালবাসা দিবসের ইতিহাসটাই বা জানে কয়জনে? রোমের সেইন্ট ভেলেন্টাস এই মানুষের ভালবাসাকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করার জন্য ফাসির মঞ্চে জুলতেও দ্বিধাবোধ করেন নি। তিনি শুধু এই।একটা দিনে গার্লফেন্ডের সাথে ভালবাসা প্রকাশ করবে বলে জীবন দেয়নি বরং সারাটি জীবন সকল মানুষকে ভালবাসার জন্য জীবন দিয়েছেন!

আমরা প্রতিনিয়ত কাওকে না কাওকে বিপদে পড়তে দেখছি। কেউ হয়তো এক্সিডেন্ট করে রাস্তার পাশে পড়ে কাকড়াচ্ছে। আমরা তাদের দেখেও না দেখার ভান করে চলে যায়। যদিও বা কাছে যায় তাহলে কোন রকম সাহায্য করিনা আইনী ঝামেলার জন্য।  বরং আমরা কি করি তৎক্ষনাত ছবি তোলে ফেইসবুকে আপলোড দেই। আচ্ছা বলুন তো আইনী জামেলাটা  বড় না একজন মানুষের প্রাণ বাঁচানোটা বড়??? একটিবার চোখ বন্ধ করে নিজেকে ওই রাস্তার ধারে পরে থাকা লোকটির জায়গায় কল্পনা করুন। দেখুন তো সে সময় আপনার মন একটু সহযোগীতা পাওয়ার জন্য কেমন ছটফট করে। চোখ দুটো কেমন অসহায় দৃষ্টিতে থাকে শুধু সহযোগিতার হাতটা একটু বাড়িয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য। তাহলে আপনি কাওকে সহযোগিতা করছেননা কেন? আপনি যে এই পরিস্থিতিতে পড়বেন না তার কি কোন গ্যারান্টি আছে?? তখন যদি আপনার সাথেও এমনটা হয়?
শুধু এক্সিডেন্ট নয় অন্যের যে কোন বিপদে আমরা শুধু দাঁড়িয়ে উপভোগ করি। যদি আপনার সাথেও এমনটি হয় তখন কি করবেন?
তাই বলছি মানুষের বিপদে আপদে পাশে দাঁড়াতে শিখুন। তাহলে আপনার বিপদের দিনে অন্যরা কৃতঞ্জতা বোধ থেকে হলেও পাশে এসে দাঁড়াবে.....
